School Council

First meeting of the year, lots to discuss and we hope to achieve lots more this year.

A school council idea buddy benches installed on the junior yard, thank you to Mr P Palmer for organising this for us.

The school council ran a very successful Christmas competition for infants and juniors, we were amazed by the response well done everyone who entered. A special mention to Mrs R Silva for overseeing the judging.

The junior tuck shop is up and running with lots of pupils opting for a piece of fruit and a drink of water at breaktime.

Thanks to the school council for helping out with a number of healthy school initiatives:

The 2016/17 school council meet every two weeks on a Wednesday morning in Miss Alexanders room. Every member has a book to record notes so that they can report back to their class and bring ideas from their class to each meeting. This year the school council is supported by Mrs Mcguiness, Miss Roberts and Miss Leslie.

The School Council have been asked by the PTA to design a logo for them.
The School Council have completed a pupil questionnaire. Thank you to all that returned their forms. It is really good to know 94% of you think the School Council do a good job. Mrs. Garnett was delighted that your favourite subject is Mathematics. We had comments such as "I enjoy coming to school every day."
Year 6 and Year 4 would like to thank the School Council for supporting them with their production at Rhyl Town Hall. They are really pleased with the prizes you have donated. Thank you!!
Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.
